The trial should have been an occasion of resolve and solidarity, but was sullied by a breach of faith by Dr. Moroka. My fellow accused designated me to discuss the matter with Dr. Moroka and attempt to persuade him not to separate himself. At the outset of our meeting, I suggested alternatives to him, but he was not interested and instead aired a number of grievances.
